Just to complete this for Windows7 and Mulberry:

Delete the selected mailbox files in the hidden directory:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files
(x86)\Mulberry\Mailboxes\SMTPQueues\
   xxxxxxx.mbc
   xxxxxxx.mbi
   xxxxxxx.mbx

You don´t have to close mulberry for that to work.

Sending will work without errors now.
