     It's not enough to set up the account for SMTP, you need to set up an identity
     as well. In the settings for each identity you can choose the SMTP account it
     uses.

Thank you so much.  Yes, I had set up an identity, but hadn't toggled the SMTP
Account in Identities to the new account.

I just checked the other identities, and I had, of course, chosen the correct SMTP
accounts, rather than leave it on Inherit.  Otherwise it wouldn't have worked all
these years.

I remember Cyrus telling me years back to leave the toggle just above the SMTP
toggle, "Inherit from," on "Default Identity."  If I didn't things could get
complicated.
