It seems to have every feature but the kitchen sink. Which isn't what I 
need.

I got Mulberry because I wanted to keep mail in folders on the server where 
I could access them from home or office without needing to keep duplicate 
data. I was coming from POP3 and bought into IMAP as the solution. And 
Mulberry had the reputation of being the best IMAP client.

Having gotten used to it, the big features beyond IMAP for me are multiple 
identities (now common in other clients) and a strong inheritance model in 
both configuration and folder structure. A folder inherits its settings 
from parents unless overridden, and most settings, including accounts and 
identities, also follow this inheritance model. I haven't seen another 
program take such an aggressive inheritance approach to configuration. It 
makes it very easy to set up several templates around the way I work and 
then create a new one that's like an existing one but only slightly 
different.

I don't need all kinds of integration with other services. And if I do, I'd 
like to see it provided by 3rd party plugins to other applications, not a 
core feature. Keep the system modular and tight.
