Re: Mulberry - the future?

I am not a techie in any sense. In fact, I seriously annoy techies, because 
while I am no expert I use products that are more techie-oriented, and I 
even play around with the more esoteric features. Mulberry is just the kind 
of program that I like. My IT services department have got to know Mulberry 
more than they ever wanted to... As I am the university President they have 
to humour me.

What I particularly want to do is to strip out attachments, formatting and 
HTML stuff before I file anything, because otherwise the disk space 
required would get too much. I like to redirect, to use smart filing 
options, to use both IMAP and POP, to use identities. I haven't found 
anything that rivals Mulberry for that combination of stuff.

What is annoying is that, these days, almost every email comes formatted 
and contains embedded images and swanky (though completely unnecessary) 
signatures and the like. And these emails become unreadable in Mulberry. 
Maybe the solution is just to eliminate people who send such stuff.
