Well like I said before I'm not advocating anyone switch but Claws Mail is
actively developed, It speaks IMAP very well/fast and all the sorting and
folder layout features of Mulberry are there. and can be configure to
behave very much like Mulberry (this takes some time to wade through lots
of options). About the only thing I have found Claws doesn't do is server
side preferences, no way to write server-side filter rules that I've found
and I have not seen a way to set permissions for shared folders/messages.

It runs on Windows *NIX and OS X, but the OS X version runs under X11
which might be a turnoff to die hard Mac fans.
