No, they just understand TB has some serious performance issues under
certain circumstances... and they are/will be addressing them now that
they have the resources to do so.

Actually, that did happen, in fact, a long time ago. They discontinued
all development resources with regard to TB, except that they agreed to
maintain the build environment, and have done so, ever since.

You shouldn't go around acting like you know everything about everything
if all you do is listen to rumours.
