Thanks :)

However I have stopped maintaining my fork of Mulberry long ago.=20
Reasons being (most of all) that Cyrus never merged anything of my (or =
anybody else I know of) work back into the main development branch, so =
that for each change he would make to the code I=E2=80=99d have to =
manually merge it into mine and adapt quite a few things to make things =
fit again.=20
It felt more and more like a waste of time.=20

Second, it became clear that for Mac Mulberry would eventually become =
unusable, because the UI code depends on library that have always been =
32bit and will never be ported to 64bit, hence, without a complete UI =
rewrite there would be no chance to use the program in a 64bit-only =
environment (which is what we have after the upgrade to Catalina).=20

Mulberry=E2=80=99s license model was changed from commercial to =
freeware. The source code was published. But there never was any =
interest to join forces with others to make the necessary changes (to be =
fair: the group of people who could have contributed anything of =
interest was far too small anyway).=20

Hence: the project is dead. I hate to say it, because I really liked the =
software. By now it has become so marginal that there is really no =
chance to recruit the necessary workforce willing to rewrite the UI code =
and make the program usable for ordinary people.=20

We may disagree on which of the remaining mailers is best. I don=E2=80=99t=
mind TB, but on my Mac Apple Mail is just fine for me.=20
It does not have any of all the Sieve scripting goodies, but fortunately =
I no longer require this (I used to in my previous company).=20
Integration of contacts on my machine, composing, interacting with the =
OS (drag and drop, etc.) all works just fine.=20

Again: without support the best piece of software can easily become =
useless.=20
Support can come from a vendor and may cost money, or it may come from a =
large enough community.=20
Neither is available for Mulberry. Sad but true.=20

Cheers,

m.
