Mutt users probably know that webmail things usually are not as good as a dedicated mail reader. Also, mail service provided by ISPs generally is not all that good. Questionable antispam, unreliable IMAP servers... I guess ISPs consider that a sideline, and don't try too hard. You'll probably get better results from dedicated mail service providers. You might have to pay a little money for that, but not much. I'm happy with Panix. That's a small shop in New York City that does a number of things, including mail. Fastmail is a large mail service with a good reputation. It's not expensive -- looks like base price is $5 / month.
