Login redirect issue

OK, I have been trying to install this for a day now and can not seem to get
the config right somewhere. Here is what I run into:

1. accessing the script at mywebsite.com/neomail/cgi-bin/neomail.cgi
2. Login screen comes up
3. Type in username and pass
4. Submit
5. Directed to
mywebsite.com/home/myusername/public_html/neomail/cgi-bin/neomail.cgi

It then gives the ol' 404. 

I have tried diff combo's of stuff in the .conf file to eliminate this but
all it gives me when I change the .conf it is an error called "Default!" and
no description. When I change all the locations back to the reference from
the root I can get the login screen to work, but then this darn redirect
issue..as above.

Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?
