It's OK, it's not the end of the world. Just a little more work for me.
Replying back to the list instead of to an individual depends on your
mailer. In mutt, it's 'L'. If you can't figure it out in your mailer, do
what I do when people mail me directly - 'F'orward your reply to the list.

What are the permissions on your suid perl binaries?
I did a quick google, and came up with other people with problems similar to
yours, and it looks like the problem may be either that the SUID bit has
been cleared on your suidperl/sperl binaries (probably located in /usr/bin/,
but could be located elsewhere), or they're mounted on a filesystem which
ignores SUID bits.
If you're using a standard Apache install, you should have access to
suidperl by default. Check your (suidprel/sperl) binaries.
Also, if it does turn out to be that the suid bits are not set, do yourself
a favor and re-install the suidperl package - having suid bits not set when
they should be can be a sign of tampering with an executable.
