malformed header from

I installed Neomail and I get the following error:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable 
to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them 
of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may 
have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

In the web server's errorlog is this error:
[Mon May 12 13:39:23 2003] [error] [client aa.bb.cc.dd] malformed header from 
script. Bad header=<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><table: /usr/local/httpd/cgi-
bin/neomail.pl

PERL is 5.00503, with upgraded CGI.pm (from 2.46 to 2.72)
Neomail install script did run without problems after the upgrade.

I found this error searching the Internet, but never an answer.
