which mail server software is the backend ??

Which authentication method do you use?

The log message looks like your mail server request an client certificate.

The Log looks strange, i think that there is an configuration error in
client or mail server.

I have round about 100 IPhone/IPad Clients with many different version
of the OS and it work pretty cool.
