What exactly does the IMAP IDLE command do?  Is this related to what I've
vaguely heard about regarding "subscribed mailboxes"?  (I think that makes it a
push rather than a pull environment.. the IMAP server tells you what changed
rather than in this case pine asking every 30 seconds or whatever..  So
I presume it mostly helps reduce load on the server...)
