I could see an argument the other way, the mailboxes you went to most recently are the ones you care about, so keep them open. (The best of that would actually tracking which mailboxes you had actually VISITED last. I get the impression that pine doesn't know the difference between an open-in-the-background connection and a connection where I actually listed the mailbox contents or viewed a message.) I previously have said that I wanted all mailboxes I went to to be stay open folders. So I guess I can effectively get this by cranking up this value a few more.
