That does not surprise me. The security of many U.S. banks is 
apparently blowing apart, ID theft, accounts highjacked. Atty 
Gen & FBI investigations prove that. I imagine most use MS 
software.

The reference I made was to the financial websites I visited, 
primarily non-banking type, unless foreign. U.S. banks I 
avoid. Check out the digital gold / money / cash / currency 
websites, & gold exchanges. Some go so far as to suggest not 
using MSIE, & openly promote & offer Mozilla or even another 
browser that escapes me for now. All for security reasons. MS 
still fools many People & businesses though. Hype sells, 
though I suspect Linux will ultimately take over.

I am not sure about Firefox, I guess it is a stand alone 
version of Mozilla Suite/Navigator Browser. AOL still uses 
Netscape Navigator as their browser it appears, which is for 
several years now a Mozilla creation.

I read something technical, recently, that suggests Linux & 
Apple are safer than MS with SSL. I do not know about that, 
but many People think IE is a security risk, & gold People are 
one of the groups. I consider their warnings seriously.

Public opinion can often be misleading.
