Umm, IMAP is definitely intended for multiple logins. That's why I use it instead of POP.. I can't hose my mailbox if I log in via multiple clients simultaneously. The other people who followed up interpreted my message correctly -- I often leave multiple copies of pine (or other IMAP mail clients) running simultaneously. Heck, I used to frequently have a GUI mail client and pine running simultaneously on the same machine. I'd do most of my mail reading in pine, but use the GUI client for any messages that "needed" it. I haven't been running simultaneous pine sessions as much in the past few days, but I think that turning on the "Move only if not deleted" option worked around my issue. (It still *seems* from the other responses that having the filter require Recent be YES should have done the right thing... but I don't know the underlying reason why it's not.) _______________________________________________ Pine-info mailing list [email protected] http://mailman1.u.washington.edu/mailman/listinfo/pine-info
