There are several ways to do this: * Rename the mbox file, any other name will do, or * In your .pinerc add "disable-these-drivers=mbox" If you want to recover these messages, move the "mbox" file to the mail/ directory, and after you open Pine, open the "mbox" folder in your "Mail" collection.
