I'm using Pine w/ an Exchange server (via IMAP), and it's PAINFULLY slow, in part because Exchange won't do IMAP server-side sorting/searching. Pine does some caching (body of an email appears faster the 2nd time I read it), but it doesn't seem to be enough How can I make Pine aggressive about caching ALL info it gets from Exchange? My goal: First time I search/sort all messages, it'll take forever (no way around that). But, after that, I want Pine to use a local cache to search/sort very quickly. I considered just doing "select all" and saving my messages to a local file, but was hoping for a better solution. -- We're just a Bunch Of Regular Guys, a collective group that's trying to understand and assimilate technology.
