Well, if the bug is that the client is configured to download, store
locally and delete from the IMAP server, that seems like a potential
single bug with bad results

... in an unrelated context, I had a mail
client download my INBOX to a test system contrary to my intent. Turned
out the client was unable to export the saved mail and so my only access
to the email was on that single system which then crashed the hard drive.

So I think it very wise to approach use of beta software in a production
context very cautiously.
