With the requisite option enabled (pine v4.64), I am able to forward emails and any attachment(s) is(are) automatically ready to go as well. However, for any email that is sent to me from a person using Apple Mail, the attachment(s) can be viewed just fine and show in the Parts/Attachments header area just fine, but are *NOT* likewise forwarded. I have seen chatter online about Apple Mail mixing-up header order (and it does have the annoying ability to "insert" attachments inside the body of an email), which may contribute to the problem? However, although Apple Mail is the original culprit (it also tags every attachment as OCTET-STREAM instead of anything useful, such as MSWORD, but I digress), I am wondering why, since pine can view Apple Mail attachments, why doesn't pine likewise forward them as it does for all others?
