setting mail folder

Hi.  Sorry for this elementary question, but I am having trouble setting my
mail folder under Windows XP.  In setup/config, I think I want to change
folder-collections to where I have (old) pine email folders, say
c:\mystuff\mail.  I tried forward and backward slashes, and I tried with and
without c:  I get startup error, so please tell me how to set my folder
directory.

(I want to use pc-pine to view old pine emails + attachments, which were
created in a linux environment.)
