[pfx] New to Postfix, Google problems

Hello,

My old server running Debian using Exim4 died a few weeks ago, rather
terminally. Since then I've been learning Postfix on a Raspberry Pi.
Things are mostly working, but I'm having some trouble with Google.

First, Gmail on my Android phone will not talk to Postfix, citing an
untrusted certificate and offering no means of trusting it. It Used To
Work (tm) with Exim4, also using a self-signed certificate. Is there
any way around this? I'm not buying a 'real' certificate just to please
Google.

Second, and this may have a related cause, I can no longer send email
to Gmail, and again Exim4 could.

This log entry seems to show that an email was sent and accepted, but
it was never received, nor shown as spam by Gmail:

I can get email to a Gmail account, but only by forwarding it to my
Hotmail address and then further forwarding it to Gmail. Not
satisfactory. Hotmail/Outlook/live/whatever seems happy with email from
Postfix. I do have SPF records for my domains, and as I say, Exim4 had
no trouble.

I'm hoping this sort of thing has happened to others, and there are
simple fixes.
