[pfx] fatal: dict_sqlite_lookup: [...] SQL prepare failed: attempt to write a readonly database?

Hi,

since I've upgraded from 3.10.11 to 3.10.12 (running Alpine) I've 
encountered the following type of log messages a few times a day. 
trivial-rewrite is running with -v and I replaced my actual domain with 
example.com:

dict_sqlite_lookup: /etc/postfix/sqlite-alias-vmaps.cf: SQL prepare 
failed: attempt to write a readonly database?


Here is the content of /etc/postfix/sqlite-alias-vmaps.cf


dbpath = /etc/postfix/mail.sqlite
expansion_limit = 1
query = SELECT destination FROM aliases WHERE alias='%s'


The SQLite file can not be written to by the user Postfix runs as, but 
this hasn't been a problem before as it is only used for looking up 
maps. It seems to me that it wants to lock the file before doing that now?

Could someone point me in the right direction? There doesn't seem to be 
a way to tell Postfix not to do that.
