You seem to forget that the dns entries only point hostnames to ip's and vise versa. Try relieving the mx port 25 and see if you can see it from your end. Using windows go cmd prompt type nslookup and inside nslookup type set q= mx Then type the fqdn you're having problems with. That should give you more light Telnet the mx ip's you have in there. Failure trace path or trace route and find out where your dead end is.
