Python & High CPU usage

We have have occaisonal high (90+%) cpu usage for one user (possibly more) who has a large list.

It appears to happen when they process thier queue.  I can see multiple Python2.2 services.  

We run Sendmail with procmail and use python2.2.  

Anybody else seen this CPU utilization behavior?  I could surely upgrade to python 2.3 & see if the problem continues.

Anyone using python 2.3?
