Pls. excuse me for replying to my own message, but since I didn't get any 
reply I was forced to try on my own and here is the solution for running ASK
with Vmailmgr (if someone finds it useful, it can be put in FAQ.). If it is
obsolete, pls. excuse me for wasting bandwidth :-(

So, here it is ..

Let's assume that local (system) user 'vadmin' is manager of virtual domain
'domain.com'.

Under /home/vadmin/ Vmailmgr installed directory 'users' and let us assume
that there are two virtual users withe the following email accounts:

1) [email protected] and
2) [email protected]

The directory structure looks like:
 
/home/vadmin/users
               |
	       ---->/vuser1
	       |
	       ---->/vuser2

In order that ASK can run with Vmailmgr we need the following:

a) move & configure .askrc in both ../vuser1 & ../vuser2 and 

b) move & configure ./ask directory in ../vuser1 & ../vuser2

The structure is now as follows:


/home/vadmin/users
               |
	       ---->/vuser1/.askrc
	       |
	       ---->/vuser1/.ask
	       |
	       ---->/vuser2/.askrc
	       |
	       ---->/vuser2/.ask

The only remaining thing to do is to create .qmail files to handle our virtual
users, i.e. .qmail-vuser1 & .qmail-vuser2.

.qmail-vuser1 looks like:

|HOME=/home/vadmin/users/vuser1 preline /path/to/ask.py --loglevel=5 --logfile=/home/vadmin/users/vuser1/ask.log

That's it! (chmod .qmail-vuser1 & .qmail-vuser2 to 600)

It's really simple, but it wasn't obvious to me  :-(
