I really think that, if every bogus (trivial, prior art, etc.)
US software patent was respected, the whole sourceforge site should
close down right now. Of course here we have a company really acting
behind this one, so things seem worst.

This site: <http://swpat.ffii.org/> has a wealth of
information. It is europe-centric, but others will find it useful too.
