Sometimes your definitely want to manually add someone in your whitelist. I see (at least) two non-anectodical cases: - you write to someone who may also use ASK, and want to avoid the deadlock. - you write to someone overbusy/important, and you want to: - not bother him with the confirmation - receive his message as soon as possible The issue is then obviously: what happens if ASK tries to edit the whitelist file at the same time as you ? The poor solution I use so far is to suspend the mail stream (that translates into killing fetchmail for me), edit the whitelist, and finally restart the mail stream. Any better idea ? ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
