Ah, yeah, the abs_top_builddir hack. Indeed it is. I very strongly wanted to make absolutely sure the invoked CRM114 binary would be the one just built; both in regular and in vhosted build environments. Can you suggest a better bang line for me? (At least you made me rethink the whole shitty bang-line business again.) And the directory tree has been revised because dumping all the documentation, test cases, test references and all sort of M4/GNU configure assist stuff in a single directory was a directory maintenance nightmare. So I went with the setup as originally created by Joost van Baal a few years ago (and available in the CRM114 SF CVS repository) and went from there. Regarding 'branch': I don't want it to be, but I think Paolo said it best when he said (and I paraphrase) it currently is 'all of the above'. There's several months of continued work in there, including fixes and updates to the language interpreter, etc. Since it's my production cum research base, it suffers from some of the same issues as the original, unfortunately. > The second issue is "_mcleanup: gmon.out: Permission denied" ... how > can I disable profiling? Check the CFLAGS/LDFLAGS= lines in Bills Makefile and strip out the gprof option (the '-pg' commandline switch in there IIRC). -- Met vriendelijke groeten / Best regards, Ger Hobbelt -------------------------------------------------- web: http://www.hobbelt.com/ http://www.hebbut.net/ mail: [email protected] mobile: +31-6-11 120 978 -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/
