Not in row :), it won TREC 2006 as an official competitor and now was
the #1 in CEAS 2008 Live Challenge as an unofficial competitor. It was a
surprise for me because that version has 2 years and because I thought
there had been many advances in SVM and compression based filters.

Well, it's not impossible :). I saw a paper about SMS spam filtering
where OSBF-Lua is competitive:
