There was a time when you had to put your name down for one then wait about 20 years to get one. We are finding that in the UK now crews from Russian ships are buying up second hand ones and shipping them back to Russia for parts etc.. They are almost becoming a collectors item over here. There are rumours that you have to kick start them, but, I think that may mean you give them a good kick with your boot when they don't start.
