I recommend totally AGAINST BDB ... its so full of problems you will get ulcers. PBL is very good, but I've recently made the switch to the internal "hash" DB and am very happy. The only major downside of "hash" DB is you cant actually get the terms dumped out for debugging, you only get the hash-value of the terms. Other drawback * it CAN get full then your screwed ... I make a 40MB hash DB and have no problems ... * Cant import/export to other DB formats any other drawbacks ? I've converted all my DB's to hash and like it very much. > Hi Brian and all, > > As my spamprobe is sort of broken right now, I might as well consider > this question: > > The BerkelyDB-stuff gives my compiler the hissy-fits, so would this be a > good time to switch to the PBL-library?
