I turned off all my catch-all emails when I noticed that I was getting 
20,000 emails a day to made-up names sent by evil spammers. Disabling 
the catch-all accounts turns then away when they first attempt the 
connection.  Now the bodies of their emails never make it to my PC.

The only downside is I now have to know in advance which email addresses 
I can give out when asked.
