Sendmail has been doing "plussed" addresses for ages. Rejecting "plussed"
addresses is dead wrong. And I honestly cannot believe there's still major
MTA software out there (like sendmail or postfix) that would still do
that.

In abundance perhaps, but neither SPF nor SRS can be blamed for such
gross brokenness, of course. Who'd wanna run a broken mail server like
that anyway?
