When I do this (e.g. skip the "=" after "as"), I don't get any error.
But it also doesn't work.  I don't see anything in the outgoing log.
I don't see anything in the debug log.  I don't get an error from
tmda-sendmail.  And it doesn't get delivered.

In fact, all outgoing mail suddenly stops with this configuration!

I think you meant "Not" instead of "Note", right?  (If not, see
above comment re "=")
