Tica,

I agree with you that TMDA is the best CR system available.  As for HTML 
messages being larger than their text counterparts, that is true, they 
should be no less than double the size since they should be a 
multi-part/alternative formated mime message containing both the HTML 
version of the response, and a clear text version so that the recipients 
mail reader can choose which version to render based on the users 
preferences.

A problem is that if MIME compliant responses are made available through 
TMDA most users are not going to consider this point and would only 
create the HTML version, which would leave TMDA with the task of either 
including an HTML to Text renderer (not likely) or just passing the 
poorly created response as is leaving users of non HTML compliant mail 
readers faced it a bunch of HTML codes.  Of course I have no idea how 
many text only mail clients are out there that don't have some form of 
HTML Text rendering capabilities.

Personally I wouldn't mind having the ability to create HTML responses, 
but I've never desired it enough to pursue modifying the code to enable 
the capability.
