What precisely is the problem?

Does the email get bounced, or lost. If so, check your qmail log files 
for the error.

Does the message get delivered OK, but without TMDA processing it? In 
this case, you probably don't have your qmail users/assign (or similar) 
file configured correctly, and/or you have a .qmail-something file 
that's sending the message to the wrong place.

Alternatively, since you're talking about sending mail, are you talking 
about outbound mail being processed via TMDA?
