Oh, thanks! This thing is running on an EC2 image, and I was trying to use the 
external address instead of the internal one.  Fixing that, I can use plain
auth at least.

Thanks for the work.  I see tmda-cgi isn't working so I can't switch to that
yet.  If I ever get free time I'll see if I can whack out some changes, but
no promises.
