tmda -installation/configuration setup test

Hello,

I've installed tmda, on a test user's account. The sys is running with 
qmail on a FreeBSD O/S . Everything was followed according to the 
instructions given on

    http://tmda.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/TmdaInstall and
    http://tmda.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/TmdaConfiguration

no error messages were noted, as far as I could figure.
But mail comes in to the account as before without the challenge etc.

How can I determine if the system is set up and configured correctly or 
effectively?
