Thanks, implemented it now.  I do remember thinking about it when I originally set up, but I'd been plagued with autoresponders back then that would reply using those headers.  I think the need to not annoy people supersedes that, though, and I've filtered out most of the really annoying ones (ironically, many of them on Dan Bernstein's mailing lists).

No, I really can't change this.  Too much stuff either gets addresses from the From: field, EG address books/safe lists, or authenticates using it, EG mailing lists.  Besides, it's the email clients breaking the rules here, by including the From: in the recipient list.  Show them the book, I say!  They are much more accountable than "Ordinary" users.
