Note that Sylpheed finds the Mail folder all right, can download and send mails etc. (I am using Sylpheed right now), but it can't remember any filter settings any more. Perhaps my registry is trashed in general (I am experiencing some other problems too). Other problems with Sylpheed are: it does not find Beonex (my browser), even though I have it pointing to the executable in the settings. Deleting text in the compose pane results in garbled screen or not visually showing the deletion. Spurious crashes ...
