Is this a Win32 specific problem or does it also happen to the unix
version from you X-Newsreader header?

Try to quit/restart Sylpheed and rescan the folder structure of that account,
inbox subfolders may appear in parallel to inbox afterwards (I didn't check
if this is the also the default on unix).
