If you install over an existing installation (i.e. the uninstaller is invoked automatically by the new installer), Sylpheed remebers the old location of data/config files. If you uninstall manually, Sylpheed will forget the locations of your data/config files. The locations are defined in the registry: http://claws-w32.sourceforge.net/sylpheed/claws/sylpheed.reg (see http://claws-w32.sourceforge.net/#Tips for details) > Neither "SYLPHE~1" nor ".sylpheeed" can be found It is (by default) located under %APPDATA%, sth. like C:\Documents and Settings\torte\Application Data (call "echo %APPDATA%" on a console to see the value).
