If yes, Sylpheed doesn't support S/MIME yet, perhaps later via=20
=C4gypten project (see http://www.gnupg.org/aegypten/index.html)
This plugin needs some other libraries install, but I didn't try
it (on linux) yet because sylpheed doesn't support GPGME v4.x
where it is prerequisite of GPA.
