My Sylpheed is a desktop version. Perhaps because I use Mailwasher
Pro as an intermediary, I haven't had popups. I do vaguely recall
flashing in the Notification area when the icon used to be there, but
not a popup and certainly not a banner style pop up. Never any sounds,
at least after I turned them off in Windows. I wonder if there is/are
settings to stop all this.=20
