Would it be possible to actually get a properly working editor so composing messages is not such a nightmare. 

Sometimes when things are highlighted they are light blue instead of dark blue and then the cursor keys stop working. 

In the properities box when I choose a Template, specifically the Reply template I can not get rid of the "Courier New" no matter what I do. I set it all to Arial and then press OK but when I go back to the template end click past the end of a line it shows Courier. I would not care but often when typing a reply, I suddenly find I'm using Courier, a font I never want to see in my emails.
 
If I'm editing a template and highlight something, clicking within the highlight has no effect. I have to click outside the highlight and then back where the highlight was to select a cursor location.
