I wanted to let you know that I solved the problem. It was a simple matter of not paying attention on my part. In ACCOUNT PROPERTIES - TRANSPORT my inattentive brain saw SMPT as SMTP. As many times as I typed that in, I always managed to transpose the last two letters. It wasn't until today that I finally caught it. Anyway I just wanted to thank you again for trying to help me.
