How very interesting. Armed with this knowledge I was able to go to TOOLS - BACKUP and supply %AppData% as a destination where I saw there was already a file called "autobackup.tbk". I told the system to overwrite that file and it proceeded to create a new autobackup.tbk file. I guess I'll just wait to see if I get the error message again. Thank you Jernej.
