It could be the build configurations (compile-time options) of some of the modules in one distro vs. another. That would hint at a config option difference for PHP that you might be able to set in a php.ini. Would be worth comparing the out-of-the-box options, for clues. > On Mar 25, 2020, at 3:44 PM, jjs - mainphrame <[email protected]> wrote: > > That's interesting - but it raises questions. I have the Maia port pull down code directly from the technion branch and just apply a few FBSD specific changes for locations (such as /usr/local/bin/perl instead of /usr/bin/perl) and a few other things. No code changes at all, though. > > Regards, > Janky Jay, III > > On 3/25/20 9:12 AM, jjs - mainphrame wrote: >> I would love to see Janky Jay's maia codebase. That’s as current as it gets. Janky Jay is the maintainer of the the port on FreeBSD. He’s [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>. It looks like he got PHP 7 support working in January 2019.
