That very well could be. It's been so long since I tested everything to make sure the migration to PHP 7.2 would work that I can't remember if I had to do anything specific. If you'd like, you can check out my guide at https://www.purplehat.org/ which will have any build and setup options for a fully working Maia-Mailguard on FreeBSD 12.
